Office of Institutional Research (OIR) Mission Statement
The Office of Institutional Research functions as the official source of institutional information. It is the mission of the Institutional Research Office to define, collect, analyze, maintain and disseminate official institutional data to support the University’s management, operations, decision-making and planning functions. The Office also serves as the responsible unit of the University for regulatory reporting of institutional data to state and federal government. The office manages and oversees the development, administration, scoring, analysis and reporting of assorted institutional effectiveness assessment processes, and assists all levels of management in defining issues, selecting research designs, obtaining information, and interpreting results for various research requests.
